Makers vs Takers

Cartoon by A.F. "Tony" Branco
WHEN I WAS A CHILD I DEPENDED ON MY PARENTS. THEY PRODUCED AND I TOOK. THEY HOPED ONE DAY I COULD STAND ON MY OWN SO I COULD DO THE SAME FOR THE MY KIDS AS THEY DID FOR ME.  IT HAD ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY.  TODAY, HOWEVER WE HAVE A GENERATION OF CHILDREN (GROWN CHILDREN) WHO HAVE NOT LEARNED THIS LESSON AND LOOK TO THEIR PARENTS OR TO THE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE FOR THEM ALL THEIR SORRY LIFE.  THEY SEE WHAT OTHERS HAVE AND WANT IT WITHOUT WORKING FOR IT.  SADLY, THERE ARE MANY POLITICAL LEADERS WHO FEED ON THESE LAZY BUMS FOR THE VOTES THEY CAN GARNER BY PROMISING TO GIVE AND GIVE TO THESE GOOD-FOR-NOTHINGS.  I DON'T KNOW WHICH OF THE TWO IS THE WORST!
